BlueTone Media has been doing web design in Wilmington for the past seven years. The company has multiplied in size, going from just two employees to 11, in that span. And while the company continues to grow, we still keep everything customer oriented and believe there is no project too small.
JIMMY HONSINGER
Owner / Web Programmer
Jimmy started the company back in 2002, and has worked very hard on developing creative custom web applications ever since.
He has built online membership directories, accounting software, sales tracking, live inventory managers, and shipping modules - all of which have the ability to be maintained by the client.
Jimmy's wife also works for BlueTone, as will his children in the next 20 years.
BRAD GRAHAM
Project Leader
Brad joined the team in early '08. A native of Charlotte and a 2002 graduate of UNC-Asheville, Brad moved to Wilmington so that he could say he's lived in every region of North Carolina.
While at UNCA, he studied digital art, ordered a lot of pizza, and met a guy named Jimmy that would forever change his life. He also managed to obtain a degree in Multimedia Arts and Science.
Right before moving to Wilmington, Brad got married to a lovely lass named Sommer.
SCOTT CLEMENTS
Web Programmer
Born in Colorado, raised in Myrtle Beach, then 9 years in Charlotte, Scott now calls Wilmington his home. With a 10 year background in Hospitality Management, he is now a website programmer and a Google Adwords Certified - Internet Marketing Specialist. Besides fine tuning Google Adwords Accounts, he enjoys watching free HD TV, eating meat and beans, watching NFL, NBA, MLB, and ATP.
MEGAN TARBLE
Office Assistant
Megan joined the company in March of '09. She is the youngest of four sisters from Long Island, NY. Megan moved to Western NC when she was 6. Now a Wilmington resident, Megan is our sweet and inviting Office Assistant here at BlueTone Media.
She also received an associates degree in Business Management in 2007. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family including her 3 year old son and she also enjoys hanging out with friends on the weekends and going to the beach.
DOMONIQUE DIXON
Web Programmer
Domonique joined in May '09. A Wilmington native, he enjoys playing football, going through intense workouts, programming, and being a dad. Domonique attended NC A&T to pursue a Computer Science degree in '01.
BRIAN CARROLL
Web Programmer
Brian joined in April '09. He grew up in upstate New York and recently has been residing in Wilmington, NC. Brian, currently attending college at Cape Fear for the time being, is working towards computer science.
In his time outside of the computer language world he enjoys bass guitar, disc golf, skateboarding/snowboarding, and climbing any obstacle.
Eager and adventurous, Brian will try just about anything at least once.
ALAN EVERSON
Web Designer
Alan joined the company in August '09, shortly after moving to Wilmington from Ohio. After obtaining a bachelors degree in graphic design from the University of Akron, he decided it was time to relocate to an area with more beach and less snow.
Outside of work, Alan enjoys skateboarding, playing basketball, BMX bikes from the 80's, the beach, and screen printing shirts.
PETER DEMARIA
Web Designer
Born in Long Beach, California Peter has lived up and down the West coast, in both the US and Canada, in the Midwest, and now lives on the Carolina Coast with his wife and their cat Taco.
He graduated with a BA in Studio Art & Design, and a Minor in French Language Studies (which may or may not ever come in handy), from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri.
Peter enjoys burritos and long walks on the beach with his wife and friends, and is finally learning to surf after all those years of just slamming on concrete with his planche a roullettes.
JOSHUA KRAUTWURST
Web Designer
Joshua was born in Hendersonville, NC, where he spent his formative years climbing trees, splashing around in local creeks, and being obnoxiously inquisitive about the world around him. Very little has changed.
Joshua moved down to Wilmington to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he acquired several questionable haircuts, an unhealthy interest in bad films, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology.
Several adventures later, Joshua joined BlueTone Media in February of 2011. He credits the company with introducing him to various life changing experiences, such as Pizza Rolls and the magic of tiny basketball. Outside of work, Joshua rides elegant horses on the beach and wears exceptionally puffy shirts. Many lutes are involved.
KEVIN MCNAMEE
Web Designer
Kevin was born in Bronx, NY and spent his early days fist-pumping along the Jersey Shore. At the tender age of 13 Kevin moved from his Northeastern roots to the mean streets of Southeast Ohio. His summer months were still spent at the Jersey Shore where gym shorts at the beach was still acceptable. After spending 15 cold winters in Ohio, Kevin moved to Charlotte.
There are 3 things Kevin cannot tolerate: wearing a suit, dwelling farther than 10 miles from the ocean, and not working in technology. In order to remedy this, he moved to Wilmington where he can surf year round and began working at BlueTone Media where suits are prohibited but idea-flow is not.
